Merry Christmas to All!

We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Lalee and Alex. Christmas Even Dinner
We had a fairly simple and relaxing Christmas this year. Lalee and I spent Christmas Eve morning at the laundry mat because the dryer decided to quit on us and we all needed clothes, except Pete- he never seems to need clothes. We spent the afternoon at the beach swimming and building sand castles and sand igloos which we covered with white sea shells and glass to make it look like an igloo.
After our Christmas dinner we had Lalee share the Christmas story with us... I loved this as it reminded me of when I was a little kid and we would re-enact the Christmas story each year.
Christmas morning was nice and quiet. We started the morning by opening the Present Pappa made for us- it was awesome- a Personalized Guess Who game. The kids loved looking at everyone's pictures.

Pete told us that who ever gave him the best hugs and kisses would get to open the first present. Mommy won ;)
The family gift was Pleo, a pet dinosaur which I think we have decided to name Cloe. The verdict is still out on the awesomeness of this gift but he does have a lot of potential.
Other Christmas memories from this year include:The kids love books.
Becca opened a present but she didn't notice the necklace that fell out of the package- she was left holding a piece of toilet paper and a paper roll. When we asked her what she got she gave us an exasperated look and said dramatically, "Oh, nothing." Too funny.
Makai had Alex's name for Christmas and Alex LOVED the spy stuff. He kept trying to spy on the rest of the family throughout the day!Becca has been on a fairy kick and was so excited to get all kinds of fairy stuff.

Overall, we have had a really nice, simple and relaxing holiday season. Very different then most of our holidays as there wasn't a lot (read any) plans but it really let us focus on our little family. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
